y Tiempo Farm is a private boarding home for both retired/geriatric and active horses in the peaceful setting of the Shenandoah Valley. We provide top of the line horse boarding on a 400 acre farm with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. At y Tiempo, your horse will enjoy excellent care and attention for the quality of life he/she deserves.
We welcome retired and geriatric horses. Whether you prefer stall board or pasture board, your horse will receive individualized care and daily handling. We are happy to administer the optional grain, supplements and medications that your horse needs for a healthy, happy and carefree retirement.
For our more active horses and riders, we have a riding ring with sand and engineered footing, a round pen, tack room and wash rack. In addition, there are miles of riding trails surrounded by lush pastures, creeks, waterfalls, and woodland. With twice daily checks, you can be as involved as you choose with the routine care of your horse.
Family owned, we have both a farm manager and caretaker on the property. Despite the quiet surroundings, y Tiempo is conveniently located minutes from I-81 and 11 miles south of Lexington and the Lexington Horse Center in Virginia.
